Hinds Announce Fourth Album 'Viva Hinds' With New Single Boom Boom Back Featuring Beck

Hinds have announced their fourth studio album.

Now a duo, following the departure of bassist Ade Martín and drummer Amber Grimbergen, the Madrid indie-rockers will release 'Viva Hinds' through Lucky Number on September 6, following up 2020's 'The Prettiest Curse'.

Alongside the news, co-bandleaders Carlotta Cosials and Ana Perrote have shared the infectious new single Boom Boom Back, which comes with a video shot by the pair in Los Angeles.

Offering elements of garage-punk, psych-rock and pop, not to mention backing vocals from Beck, the track follows Hinds' single Coffee, released earlier this year.

The LP will also boasts a collaboration with Grian Chatten of Fontaines D.C., as well as production from Pete Robertson, engineering from Tom Roach and mixing from Grammy Award-winner Caesar Edmunds.

Hinds have scheduled a tour of North America for October, with tickets on general sale at 10am local time on Monday (May 13). Head here for details.

They also have a number of UK and European dates in the diary for later this month, including shows in London, Brighton, Paris, Munich and Berlin. In September, they'll play London's Lafayette. Tickets for those gigs are already on sale.
